The Lords Commissioners
of the Treasury have
had under Their consideration
your
letter of the 18th November
last, enclosing a despatch from
the Acting Governor of Hong Kong
on the subject of an application from the Bank of Hindustan, China, and Japan for the
reception of their notes at the Colonial Treasury.
The Bank requests that
privileges may
be
accorded to it, under the same
regulations and restrictions,
as are already granted to the five Banks whose notes are
now received at the Treasury.
