Her Majesty's Treasury have had before them your letters of the 19 & 20 Instant on the subject of the Estimate of drint Expenses of the Hongkong Mint for the year 1866, and

They desire me to acquaint you, for the information of her Secretary Cardwell, that they have no objection to the Estimate of Expenditure for the Establishment of that Mint for the year 1866 - as amended by the letter, the total amounting to $26,536.
