I have now to transmit to you a further letter from the Royal Mint dated 1st instant, enclosing
a claim from Messrs Ralphe Stead & Co. for the sum of £1205. 15.0, completing the coinage of
20,000 Bronze Coins for
the Hong Kong Government, for the payment of which I beg you to furnish me
with Sir Edward Cardwell's authority.
