16 January 1866 We honor to enclose,
for the information of the Secretary a letter received by the Crown Agents for the Colonies from the Master of the Royal Mint, transmitting for inspection the accounts of the Artists employed
in designing and supervising Ties of the new Coinage provided for the Government of Hong Kong; and I have to request that the Crown Agents may be furnished with Mr Cardwell's authority to settle the several accounts mentioned
