just opinion Registrar General has

establishment, which at first view would seem scarcely adequate for the
new work at its commencement

of 4000 houses, the entries connected with the ownership and tenancy of those houses and the Registration of probably 4000 servants, and the

books hereafter required. I have great reliance however on his opinion, and believe his
proposed
Staff adequate. The total extra permanent expense which he contemplates does not exceed £965 per annum.
