the advisability of extending the trial of the Mint, especially if the Imperial Government consent to relieve the Colony of a portion, if not
the whole, of the expenses attending the keeping up of the establishment
and I would suggest the reduction of the
seignorage

is supplied with two or three millions
of dollars of the
new currency.
