I am directed by the Earl of Carnarvon to transmit to you the enclosed copy of a despatch from the Governor of H. Kong forwarding a letter from the Acting Superintendent of Police with a Requisition for Clothing Equipments & stores required for the force for the year 1867.
I am to instruct you to procure these articles and ensure their arrival in the Colony by the next mail.
