The present is perhaps an opportune moment, considering the financial state of the Colony, to re-open two subjects; but I am so satisfied of the propriety of my claims that, I do not hesitate to solicit that His Excellency may be pleased to order a refund of the sums paid by me for rent of the

Government Quarters and also sanction their being occupied without the payment of Rent for future occupation.

II. The Postmaster General so

Appointed under the Provisions of this Ordinance shall, within the limits

of this Colony,

and subject also to the Provisions of this Ordinance and, to the

Rules to be established under the Authority

of the same, and so long

as he shall be in

the execution of his office, have and exercise

all, and

every such and the same Powers Authorities, Privileges

and
