the recommendation of Mr Kinder, and subject to Your Lordship's approval, I allowed an
increase of $120 per annum
to be made in
the salary of Mr. J. Pearson, Assistant Melter at the Mint from 12 September last,
as also an
increase of $6 per month
to the salary of J.
Figurinde, Junior Clerk in the Army Department.
The expenditure incurred in the above
appointments
and additions to salary is covered
by the Estimates for the current year.
