A Report relating to a case reported at this Office on the 14th May by a Chinaman named Lin Ah Ding, who was a passenger on board a trading junk bound from Iwaton to Swatow (or possibly "Songbong" but "Swatow" is more plausible), and while sailing off San-mee (or "Sam-Ui", possibly referring to 三水 "Sanshui"), the junk was captured by a number of Pirates and sailed away. At ... a.m. this morning, information was given to Inspector de Pilon at the Wales Police Station. One of the piratical boats was then at anchor...
