So many more Pirate boats having on board more than 20 men, who fired several musket shots and threw in a Stink pot and boarded with arms placed the informant and his crew of 14 men with 11 women and Children under hatches and seized his boat.

When within a distance of about 30 to 4 Miles from that place the Pirates transferred all the property belonging to informant and his crew, consisting of clothing value $200, Fishing Nets $300, Fix gold rings $10 each, about $300 in Silver2 small Fampens and 4 anchors to their boat and then left.

On finding the Pirate gone from his vessel, informant and his crew forced open the hatches. Seeing nothing more of the Pirate boat they returned to Trong Long.

Informant could identify some of the Pirates but not the chief.

(Signed) Wm Quin,
