72. To report whatever other circumstances in the opinion of the Commission may affect materially the chance of rendering the Mint a paying concern.
On the policy of maintaining at the expense of this Colony a non-paying concern, if the Mint appear likely to prove such, the Major-General Government will of course decide.
I would be glad if the Commission could report it but three days before departure of next Mail; and I desire that the Members have access to all papers in this Office bearing on the questions referred to them.
