"danger thereof", the Officers and

Crews

to be subject to the

laws and Customs of the Royal

Navy

and the Governor may

place them under the Queen's

Officer Commanding

on

the Station.

That with reference

to this section, we were

pleased to

request

that we would

consider whether there

might not

be difficulty when it is to

be considered

whether it might

take effect and

whether this

might not have been avoided

by requiring it to be

announced

by a Proclamation.

We were also

pleased to request

that we would consider the effect of

the Act on vessels proceeding beyond the limits of the Colony;

whether, while so employed,

or on their return, the Officers and Crews, being guilty of any neglect or violation of duty, would be liable to punishment on their return to the Colony?
