the Dr. Brenserry "More properly speaking not until the first quarter in each
year 1864 and 1865 had nearly expired that notices
would be served.
Thus the Treasury was in arrears

and that it was only in Monday week
last 12th June 1865 - I state so
on the authority of the clerk of the
Court - that the landlords applied for

I have no desire to be prolix or to throw blame upon others, but it is
well I should state - (what I have
already reported) that when I applied
in December 1864 to the Court of
the Court - whereas I conceive that
I was entitled, at the latest, to a return
upon each warrant on the 1st April 1865.
From what I have stated in the
beginning of this letter as to the service
of notices it will be evident that the
Lists of Defaulters could not be prepared
