Sir,
I have the honor to draw the attention of His Excellency the Acting Governor to the requirements of the Ordinance No 5 of 1863 and also that in reference thereto it is informed that the Valuation was commenced at the time fixed by ordinance & it is presumed that the returns will be returned at the time fixed by ordinance.

It is desirable that the Valuation Tables for 1866 should reach the Treasury during the present month.
