Treasury, Hongkong

16th March, 1865.

I have the honor to bring to your recollection that Warrants were applied for from the Court over which you preside, on the 20th December 1864; that the said Warrants were granted on the 4th of February last, and I would draw attention to the fact that as yet no portion of the arrears of Police, Lighting and Water Rates for which the Warrants were granted, has been received at the Treasury; & that it is most desirable with a view to close the accounts for 1864, that further delays should not attend the recovery alluded to.

The Honourable

The Judge

I have &c.

/sig/ I. Forth

Count of Summary Jurisdiction
