I would further suggest that all parts should be marked with corresponding letters or figures when attached to other portions, as this would prevent any errors in erecting and in laying on the apparatus or "hand" would prove of great assistance.
Mr. Amand of the Imperial Mint has the virole that is to be used for the Hong Kong dollar, and the dies. A tracing of the section shall be sent in a few days. I think it would be well to consult Mr. Amand as to various details, as he has lately conducted a series of experiments at the Imperial Mint with reference to the requirements of the Hong Kong dollar.
The payment will be made as follows: On a certificate that the Press has been duly inspected and approved being sent to Her Majesty's Secretary of State for the Colonies, an order will be issued to the Agents General of the Crown Colonies, Mr. [?], 5, Spring Gardens, London, for the sum of £15,000.
