I have to inform you that the coming press ordered of Messrs Cail tho 48 Quai de Billy Paris, will not be completed until after my departure from Hong Kong, but when I was last in Paris the Baron de Bussierre, a Director of the Imperial Mint, offered to permit a competent Official from that establishment to inspect and prove the Press before it was packed for China.

I beg therefore to recommend that the Crown Agents be authorised to accept the offer of the Baron de Bussierre and in

Frederic Rogers Bart.
