The completion of the Buildings is expected by the end of the year and the erection of the Boilers and Engines.

The walls of the Workshops will be pushed on with first in order that the Iron Roof may be put up while the Dwelling House is being completed. Mr Kinder is sending out 4 foremen for the shops and Engines while being erected.
Gas will be available on site of Mint from 1 January next - the price however is $3.50 per 7/0 cubic foot, and it will be for Mr Kinder to consider whether he can produce Gas at a cheaper rate, the price of coal being taken at $10 per Ton.
