Sam instructed by the Council of the Acclimatization Society to request you
on will from
them with a copy of a dispatch from Manila, No 141 of August 18. 1859. respecting Timber Frees, it formed one of the replies to the questions iscurs by
the Colonial Office on behalf of the Acclimativation. Society. The dispatch in question, is alluded to by Acting For Mercer in his report from Hong Kong
now in the Soiaty's posseciion.
I am further instructed to ask for the war of any
other communications from ther Majesty's Ministers. Governors, a Cons als. being replies to the questions concerning
Acclimatization forwarded by authority the Colonial Offier
