"In reference to the usual working drawings the Treasury to whom this demand was referred stated that the expenditure could not be sanctioned as the Estimate was reasonable" 11753. On the 7th April (8273) the expenditure of about £400 was sanctioned.
On the 7th April (8273) Mr. Kenderdine requested that £255 might be paid to Mr. Lender as part of the £400, which has accordingly been done. He now asks that the balance of the £400, i.e. £145, may be paid to Lender with a statement of the work done.
