At the request of Mr Charles Langdon Davies I beg to state that, from a knowledge of the general state of his health and constitution, acquired by having been his medical adviser for some years, I consider him a good subject for residence in a tropical climate, he not being affected with any disease, and his general habits being especially favourable to the preservation of health.
