I am directed by His Grace the Duke of Newcastle to accept your tender for "Tank & Water Service" dated the 1st inst! amounting to the sum of £372... 15.0 to be delivered in London by the 10th day of May 1864.
Payment: Cash on joint certificate of myself & the Master of the Royal Mint: less 10 per cent, reserved as a guarantee fund until the work shall have been satisfactorily delivered in China.
