I read your letter about the Convention between the British and the French, and why they have finally ceded Hong Kong to England.

An extract is attached, defining the boundaries, and a plan (an essential act to make the treaty clear).

Mr. Aeverley, the Surgeon General, has put forward a proposition in England, and has distally pointed out the supposition acted for.

A copy of their art, whether from comments in their depression, which may be sufficient to hear from them, is attached.
