I have the honor to report that affairs being quiet at Swatow and no danger to be apprehended from Rebels. I proceeded on a Cruize intending to visit Kantow and Tongsang, off the former a Brig (European) was taken and the crew murdered in September, and at the head of the latter Bay is a rebel outpost and likely to give trouble on the coast.
