Colonial Surgeon I have reappointed to the vacancy Dr Dollman who formerly held the Office; the Salary is £300 or with quarters $1440 a year in the Hospital, but without the right of private practice.
I enclose the form required by Minute of 31st July 1863, and have to ask you approval of the arrangement. The persons appointed to offices of Col. Reg. have always been of this class in Hong Kong selected by the Governor.
