I have to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 5th Instant, forwarding for my information your letter of the 10th Instant addressed to you No. 525 by His Excellency Sir Hercules Robinson on the subject of the proposition to continue the breakwater in front of the Naval Yard at Hong Kong, and of the disposition of Canet at Kowloon.
