It is time that an Architect did come to this Colony under the favorable answer, but he did so as a brother of long standing, a long resident here, but he did not meet with much success: as it appears those having buildings to erect preferred placing their interest in the hands of a person of experience... rather than the one, who however great his talent may have been for work at home, was totally unacquainted with the requirements of this exceptional Colony.
