I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt of Your Excellency's Despatch No. 36 of the 13th instant upon the subject of the exportation of Warlike Stores from this Colony to Macao.
Your Excellency is aware that under instructions from Her Majesty's Government Proclamation has been issued forbidding absolutely the exportation of Warlike Stores from this Colony to any place whatsoever,
