This officer will arrive at Hong Kong accompanied by an Imperial Vessel of War which on anchoring will salute the Governor's Flag with the usual three guns, the Chinese salute, but then will notify his arrival and on His Excellency The Governor, on call accompanied by the Interpreter on His Establishment Mr Carroll.
