favorable Hong Kong Volunteers account of the Volunteers was received in spirit of the Corps by no means diminished August lost, and the seems to have during the year, but on the Contrary to have increased with its numbers.

The three Civil Service cadets who came out in the end of 1862 have done well, their time during the past year was well employed, and give promise of good future assistance to this government.
