OFFICE OF SURVEYOR GENERAL

ESTIMATE OF THE EXPENSE NECESSARY TO BE INCURRED FOR

Maintenance of Water Works.

PLAN OR DESCRIPTION.

The amount proposed for the maintenance of Water Works has been estimated at £3000 for $1344.

A sum of $1344 has been sanctioned, and is now available.

The Staff consists of an Overseer and a Watchman. The Balance will be required for repairs and alterations to Reservoirs, Hydrants, Pipes, &c., and for the execution of plumbing work.

This year a smaller sum is asked for, owing to the late completion of the water works, and probably hereafter a larger sum will be required for the service.

Approved,

(signed) Hercules C. R. Robinson

Governor.
