It is with much regret that I have to report that Mr Anderson 2nd master has been severely wounded in the head; he was of the greatest assistance to me and proved himself a very zealous Officer.
I beg most respectfully to bring him to the notice of the Commander in Chief; the following is the list of the wounded.
Robt Hamilton A. B. mortally, since dead. Mr MCM. Anderson 2nd master dangerously, Peter Shelly A. B. severely sent to Hospital at Amoy. Richards Ord: slightly. Win Steins Ord. Ditto.
Ben. Brown and M. I. Jones slightly Sent to Hospital at Amoy.
