for future Batteries in this Colony, I have now the honour to forward two plans signed by Major General Brown and myself from which it will be seen that the whole question of Military Reserves which has been for such a length of time under discussion has at last been finally disposed of
2. upon Plan N.1 shows the sites on Kowloon Peninsula transferred by the Colony to the War Department for Barracks and other Military Buildings.
3. Plan 1.2 shows the sites reserved for future Batteries in Houghong, Kowloon, and Stonecutters' Island.
4. I have thought it might there be convenient that Copies of plans should be recorded in your Office's department.
