It authorises the appointment of two Commissioners by His Excellency whose substantial powers and duties are expressed in section 2.
The other sections give authorities and directions subsidiary to these principal powers.
The subsisting Ordinances will be comprised in a small volume.
The object of this Ordinance is to do that in reference to all the Colonial Ordinances which is done as to the amalgamation of various parts of the laws of England. It is to be anticipated that the edition of the Ordinances to be produced by the intended eliminating process will be an intelligible collection of existing Ordinances which will be readily procurable at a small charge by the whole Community.
