I have the honor to report that I granted leave of absence to M. Cleverly, Surveyor General, for one year from the 29th instant. M. Cleverly has upwards of six years' continuous service since his last leave, and has consequently received also the allowance of His Grace The Duke of Newcastle, K.G.
