I hereby certify that I have attended Mr Alexander Brand Dr occasionally for some time past: that he suffers much from severe palpitation of the heart, with swelling of the feet and other symptoms indicative of derangement of the circulatory system: that all these symptoms are brought on, if present, immediately, and greatly aggravated by physical, or even mental exertion; and that under these circumstances, I am of opinion that he is unfit to attend to the duties of his situation.
