you for the consideration of their Lordships a copy of a despatch from the Governor of Hongkong forwarding for approval the Report and Estimate dated the 26 of April 1864 for the completion of the Public Gardens at a cost of
$15,643.98.
Mr Cardwell would recommend this Estimate to their Lordship's for their sanction, on the understanding that the Sum voted for Public Works in the year 1864 be not exceeded.
