I have to acknowledge the receipt of your letter No. 39 of the 12th April, and to convey to you my approval of the appointment of Mr. C. F. A. Sangster to be second Clerk in the Registrar General's Department on a salary of £250 per annum, and of Mr. F. A. Quinn to succeed Sangster as Clerk and Accountant in the Police Department on a salary of £200 per annum, the salary in each case being receivable from the date of appointment.
