be applied, the stone and channel drain, over which a carriage would not pass, the expense of some such work will not be more expensive to the Tenants than the Form of the Parapet wall which forms a portion of the sea wall for the Praya.

One of the low level at which buildings were before the Praya was built in the central part of the City,
some of the houses were flooded consequent on the high seas contemplated in the
level of the Praya, and for fear that the seas might pitch on to the road,
means were used to keep down the water on the surface
and not, nor
use of vent I left holes at the Praya level for this purpose. The experiment however proved satisfactory for the last two
years and I consider it safer to have a perfectly solid parapet
and handpipe or discharge pipes in certain places
