This bridge is proposed for execution at the 176 cyds rubblestone and of the Present Canal walls and is intended to afford the means of Communication between store lately erected and the road to Tockumpos from Inverts as well as in the event of the occupation of the south of Bowrington either for a Garden Burial ground and the diversion of the present road as proposed accompanying plan.

In the event of the area east of the Canal being turned to account the present line of Road would interfere so materially with the development of the life that diversion of the Load is dispensible, this can easily and inexpensively arranged as the land is quite level. The direct line to Tookumipor the present proposed bridge would then take all the traffic for carriages and pedestrians.
