Bridges

PLAN OR DESCRIPTION.

The Repairs to Bridges demanded for ordinary maintenance, principally for damages caused by floods, and the impact of heavy seas on parapet walls.

On new bridges, repairs to sundry waterways, repairs to invert scour from floods, added to those under my last year, has been thorough stone work to the wooden bridge before the harbour left in not good condition.

250 @ £40 = £100 for painting out of Victoria maintenance.

200 cyd @ £20 = £400 for rough stone pavement to Bridgeal.

1500/40 = £37.50 for rough pavement over the canal at Bowsington, this will require tar or paint & sand only for the preservation of but for the form work also.

Two other wooden bridges finished this year at private expense, these are for the convenience of shipbuilders; agreements be kept in repair.

Last year bridges and will in accordance with the tenants requiring the Aberdeen Road.

The vote this year and the amount is not likely to be exceeded for executing services generally performed by daily labour or to circumstances.
