All the official correspondence in my possession had been submitted to the Council, and would be published in the next Government Gazette.

A debate ensuing, it was unanimous with the Council that further information should be obtained, and as Sir Hercules Robinson had conducted the matter at Home with your Department, the Treasury, and the mint, and was shortly expected back to the seat of his Government, I consented to await the arrival of Sir Hercules Robinson for the final discussion on the subject.
