I hereby certify, that Mr Joseph Thornton has received Full Salary at the rate of £400 per Annum as First Clerk in the Harbour Master's Office up to the 31st Day of July, 1862.
The Half Salary will be drawn by Mr Thornton's Agent in the Colony.
