The selection
And some
Difficulty has been
Experienced in proving
a person possessed of the necessary qualifications
willing to take
the appointment. His
Grace considers that the
following terms, as laid down by Dr. Kunder
may
fairly be conceded.
1. Salary
at the rate
of $1,400 per
annum.
as stated in the Ordinance.
at the time of the Warrant. Regulations
2.
Free Quarters
in
The
House
built, in which will be included a room for the Master.
3. A free passage for Dr. Kunder, and his wife,
in the vessel which
Conveys
the plant
to
the Colony.
4. A claim to Pension,
with the additional five
per cent
allowed to the
Judge of the Summary Jurisdiction Court, and the Colonial Chaplain,
by
the
Hong Kong Pension
Minute.
5. Full salary to be
allowed to Dr. Kunder from
the date of his appointment.
