The first page of The Extimater for 1883 it will be seen that I estimated the sum of assets and liabilities at the close of Year at £75,000.
Which sum should rather be endorsed than amended, and that the Excess of assets over liabilities at the Commencement of the present Year was £16,000 in excess of my estimate, but this was caused almost altogether by the unexpected produce of the land sales in 1882, and by arrears of Superannuation contributions not calculated on excess will be covered by the Corresponding abatement to which I have already referred in the probable outcome of the present par.
