that in a commercial
Community such as
of Hong Kong,
the
law
of
Bankruptcy
should be drawn up
by
a person thoroughly
qualified for
the task
And he would therefore
propose
to
employ
the
services
of
Mr. Robert
Bourke
of
the Inner
Temple who is recommended
to him by Sir St. Robinson
for this purpose.
As the fee which, the Duke of Newcastle and Sir R. Bourke suggest, as proposed to be offered is a fair remuneration (unless there is some reason to object),
for
drafting it. I am to request their Lordships' sanction to the engagement of
Mr. Bourke's services on
the
terms embodying
the proposed
rate of remuneration
of 100
Guineas.
