Maybe established for the Management of Computers, I can see no objection to the appropriation of a suitable site from the unoccupied Crown lands of the Colony, which might be handed over in the same way as there may be Military reserves to the charge of the War Department, or the Joint charge of the War and Naval Department.

It would be for those services to make their own arrangements for the consecration of the ground. The whole of the plot is to be reserved for Naval and Military burials.

Why not, however, be the Military and Naval Authority called on to pay for this ground any more than for the Imperial Reserves?

As regards a consecrated Cemetery for Civilians, I would not recommend that any portion of the present Protestant Cemetery in Happy Valley should be consecrated, but if any general desire should be expressed hereafter, a consecrated burial ground by the Members of the Church of England for burial ground - which they have not done as yet - may be considered.
