The Kowloon question.

Gauldree agrees arrangements proposed of 25 Sept with one alteration.

In the modified arrangements in the C.O. Wetter suggests a trifling alteration viz that, if urgently required, the 5. W point of the peninsula be given up by the Colony without waiting for the expiration of the 3 months' notice.

The War Office also think that if an opportunity occurs, a position for a Battery should be secured on the opposite shore.

The Model corresponding to Ricting Gov. by the Mail of Monday if possible.
