of the married Soldiers to an site apart from the Barracks, and to place the Buildings which are not permanently occupied by Men, such as Stores, Canteens, Stables, in the low ground to the East of the Ridge, giving up the space thus gained to the Civil Population. The fly leaf on the enclosed plan shows the revised arrangements for Barracks &c. It must however be understood that the designs of any Building to be erected between the Barracks and the sea shall be submitted through the Officer Commanding the Troops to the Principal Military Medical Officer and the Commanding Royal Engineer for their approval before execution.
